Crazy Day (update)

I’m so thankful that my teammate decided to return to work today. I’m not sure how long she’ll be around. I’m not sure if the management will let her stay on or not.  Yesterday was a no-call no-show day – but she’s working at her desk right now

Crazy Day

So work has been BUSY. It’s the last full week of the month – so that means that we pull together everything that we did for the month and make sure it all balances… it’s crazy busy until the 2nd of July.

One of my team mates was a no-call no-show yesterday.  She’s been frustrated for a few months now and I think that she is looking for another job – but c’mon – no-call no-show at month end? That’s not cool.  As the team lead I guess I get to pick up her account until they hire a replacement   But that allows for some overtime except my daughter is now playing Basketball on Saturdays and I’ll miss a game here and there

To make things even better… I was greeted with the news yesterday that my supervisor resigned at 5pm on Tuesday night and cleaned out her desk and left and will not be returning.  She’s only been with the company for 6 weeks and realized that she couldn’t continue.   I guess that it’s better now than later… but it still stinks for our team to be leaderless for the next few weeks while they search out a replacement. (and NO I’M NOT INTERESTED IN THE POSITION)
